Students will start their vocational education earlier. Hotel industry is a dynamic and growing industry, with more than 200 jobs in various industries. In the United States, there are more than 74.1 million tourism employees, and in the world, there are more than 220 million people. In 60% of states in the United States, tourism employs the highest number of people. For many young workers, hotel work is their first attractive and well paid work experience.

The American Hotel Association Education Institute (AHLEI) has developed two hotel courses to help secondary vocational school students successfully enter the hotel industry and tourism industry. They are hotel and tourism management courses and accommodation management courses. These two management training courses mainly teach students how to embark on the road of career development and how to master the skills needed for the long-term development of the fast changing and vibrant hotel industry.
